Welcome to the ReconOS wiki!

If you just want to use ReconOS for your own multithreaded applications, you should refer to the ReconOS User’s Guide. At this point, however, it is very likely that using ReconOS means participating in the development of ReconOS itself, so the Developer Guidelines and other pages in this wiki are also a valuable source for information for new users.

The main page for announcments, source code snapshots and “user-space” information about ReconOS is http://www.reconos.de. There you’ll also find more high-level background information about the programming and execution model for reconfigurable hardware that is used by ReconOS, as well as a list of scientific publications.

How to participate

This site (http://github.com/luebbers/reconos/) is the development repository for the ReconOS tool chain and execution environment. We welcome all interested parties and potential contributors and would be delighted if you choose to participate in the project. First, have a look at the Developer Guidelines for information about the mailing lists and general structure of the repository, and general information on how to contribute. Then, look at the issue tracker and the TODO list to see where your help is would be most appreciated. Alternatively, if you have a propsal for a new feature or a cooperation (e.g., you want to use ReconOS for a research project at your institution), feel free to voice your ideas on reconos-devel@lists.reconos.de.
