nsp is a project build manager for the NoSyn Programming Language. nsp uses the nsc compiler to generate D source files from NoSyn code and then builds into a binary application using the D package manager DUB.
nsp create
This will createa new NoSyn project in a directory named by the user as an option.
nsp compile
Compiles the NoSyn source code and copies all D source files to the target compile location from the src directory of a NoSyn project.
nsp run
Performs nsp compile
and then compiles the generated D source code using dub and runs the resulting binary.
nsp clean
Cleans the target compile location of all files and ensures that all cached files are rebuilt.
NoSyn and D source files should be placed in the src directory of a NoSyn project (NoSyn file extension is .ns)
- nsp is written in D and requires the D build tool, DUB. Find instructions on install DUB here.
- nsc needs to be installed prior to nsp.
There are currently no installers for any systems so nsp must be build from source by cloning this repo.
Once DUB and nsc have been installed, run the install_nsp.linux.sh
script from the main directory.
This will build the project and create an executable at /usr/bin/nsp
with install files at /usr/share/nsp
Once DUB and nsc have been installed, run the install_nsp.linux.sh
script from the main directory.
This will build the project and create an executable at /usr/local/bin/nsp
with install files at /usr/local/share/nsp
Once DUB and nsc have been installed, run the install_nsp_windows.bat
script from the main directory.
This will build the project and create an excutable at %appdata%\local\bin\nsp.bat
with install files at %appdata%\nsp
There currently is no distribution for the Windows platform.
