incomplete import of ICS File

Hi all,

I am currently updating the waste calendar for 2025. However, I have the problem that the dates are only included up to December 11th, 2025. The last dates for December 24th and 30th are missing. Unfortunately, I cannot add a date manually. But the ICS file contains all data up to end of 2025.

I integrated it via the configuration.yaml

waste_collection_schedule:
  sources:
    - name: ics
      args:
        file: `"www/abfallkalender_2025.ics"

It would be great if someone has an idea.

Are you sure the file contains the 2024 entries as the file name is abfallkalender_2025.ics? If the file contains all the entries, there shouldn't be a difference between ones from this and next year.

From which service provider is this file? Maybe you could add them from the url.

Missing entries are from 2025. This year 2024 everthing is fine...

For testing purposes, I converted the ICS file into a CSV file and all entries are included.

The servcie provider is https://www.stadt-ratingen.de

and only an export file is available.

Now I get your issue. It isn't really an issue. The ICS source only retrieves the next 365 days of dates and discards any dates further in the future. So these entries will appear in a few days
