This is the same as https://forum.manjaro.org/t/update-icon-not-reset-after-updating-flatpaks/167786

This is clearly minor, but I found a glitch with the tray icon signaling updates: if the updated package is a flatpack, the icon stays red (and shows the need for updates with the right click) even if the package has already been updated.

After log in/log out it the icons go back to the normal white status.

Could it be something of my configuration, or can somebody else confirm it?

BTW, I'm on wayland and GNOME:

Additional info: after about 1 hour the icon heals itself... I suppose that this is due to:

let CHECK_INTERVAL     = 1;   // 1h

in the source.
