But I had a situation similar to yours, where I needed to have some custom icons available for my team. I ended up creating a fork and uploading it to the marketplace. I keep the fork updated with latest changes in But when we need a custom icon that might be useful for the entire community, I create a PR here and help maintaining and improving the extension. |

Hi I'm not able to load custom icons in a specific folder inside my root folder project
My goal is have it in my root project in a way that contributors when pull could also load the custom icons
Any suggestions for me?

I'm able to load custom icons when I insert the .SVG icons inside
/Users/renanmalato/.vscode/extensions/pkief.material-icon-theme-5.4.2/icons
and call it inside settings.json like this
but I'm not able to set specific path like to my main project....
I can see the .vscode inside my project but it is an empty folder, it is not the folder that contains the material icons file
Would love to hear any suggestions
