Jest tests fail with import not allowed error after upgrading material-table.

i used CRA (Create-react-App) 4.0.3 with Jest 26 and yarn 2 / PnP to test some components with tables and now (as today after i upgraded material-table...) get some strange error during test runs.
(the website works normally, though)

I'm pretty sire that means i need to do some stuff in jest config (transformIgnorePatternsor alike) but have no idea what and where.... :/

Anybody got some pointers for me?

Runtime error: Jest encountered an unexpected token

This usually means that you are trying to import a file which Jest cannot parse, e.g. it's not plain JavaScript.

By default, if Jest sees a Babel config, it will use that to transform your files, ignoring "node_modules".

Here's what you can do:
 • If you are trying to use ECMAScript Modules, see https://jestjs.io/docs/en/ecmascript-modules for how to enable it.
 • To have some of your "node_modules" files transformed, you can specify a custom "transformIgnorePatterns" in your config.
 • If you need a custom transformation specify a "transform" option in your config.
 • If you simply want to mock your non-JS modules (e.g. binary assets) you can stub them out with the "moduleNameMapper" config option.

Hey what version are you on? Can you try updating to the latest version?

Material-table is the latest yarn could find, updated this morning.
jest is not because create-react-app is still stuck on 26.6.x, and fixing the mess i made trying to get Jest 27 took me days.... :(

I meant version of this library. Can you upgrade this library to version 4.1.0

it is material-table 4.1, i reverted the upgrade and it worked again.
I'll try to do a repo with reproduction later, i just hoped it's a an obvious stupid question...

Just Jest is not latest (26 not 27).
