Currently, there's a bug in sarwind that seems to come from gdal, which makes it impossible to calculate wind.

We need to consider switching to satpy, since Nansat depends on gdal, which is very difficult to install in addition to being buggy. Satpy has a larger user group and development team, and does not rely on gdal.
