This is a desktop application written in Java that allows users to play the game of Space Invaders. The application features a single window and requires users to log in using their username. Once the "Gioca" button is clicked, the game begins, and the objective is to earn as many points as possible by destroying invaders. Users can climb the leaderboard by earning points and competing with other players to make it to the top.
To install the Space Invaders Game Desktop App, clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/mgiorgi13/Space_Invaders.git
Navigate to the project directory and compile the Java files:
javac *.java
Start the application using the following command:
java SpaceInvadersAC.java
This will start the application on your local machine.
Once logged in, click the "Gioca" button to start the game. Use your keyboard to control the spaceship and shoot at the invaders. The game will end when the spaceship is destroyed or the player chooses to quit.
