The plugin works great if I open files from the sidebar, but I noticed that whenever a shortcut that calls "show_overlay" is used, the default behavior kicks back in, messing with the tab order as usual...

A great example is the CTRL-P shortcut to quick open any file.

I am having this same issue; works with CMD-o (to open file) but fails with CTRL-p

Sublime version 3.0, build 3143
MacOS 10.10.5
