Test explorer not showing tests

Behaviour

Tests not showing in test explorer.

Steps to reproduce:

Create test file in python project directory

❯ cat tests/test_thing.py 
def test_thing():
    assert True

Refresh test explorer. The structure to test_thing.py shows, but no enclosed tests.

I experience the same issue (at least the same error message is displayed). For me, the exception is triggered by

vscode-python/src/client/testing/testController/common/utils.ts

Lines 198 to 201 in de988ff

So perhaps add a safety check there (and print a debug message to figure our why the line number is negative in the first place)?
