About

For our final project at the Northcoders bootcamp, we created an online game. A take on the classic Guess Who, but with the twist that rather than people, you're guessing the alien.

During the planning phase it was agreed that the single player game would be the MVP, which is what we aimed for.

Once this was achieved, we moved on to creating a two player version. We needed to use websockets for the multiplayer aspect, so for this socket.io was used.

If you’d like to run this project locally then click on the green code button and copy the repo url. Then in your terminal type the following commands:

1. git clone https://github.com/jamesyuill/guess-what-fe.git
2. cd guess-what-fe
3. npm install
4. npm run dev

Back End Files

If you’d like to run this project locally then navigate to the project files ==here==, click on the green code button and copy the repo url. Then follow the steps above, but replacing the url with the backend url.
