How to place an elevator

1. Craft 2 Elevator Assemblers

   

2. Prepare the Elevator shaft: clear out a 3x3 area of any height.

3. Place Chains on either side of the shaft

4. Place the Elevator Assemblers in the middle of the shaft, at the heights you want the elevator to go between

5. To use the Elevator you can right-click it, or activate a Pressure Plate / Button / other Redstone signal in the correct positions.

6. To destroy the Elevator, use an Axe or destroy the Chains next to it.
