I'm after some clarification on what's required to use the diagnostic ROM on a model 1.
As I understand from the readme, I need a 23xx to 27xx EPROM adapter, burn the ROM .bin or .hex to a 27xx EPROM and plug the adapter with EPROM into the first ROM socket (ROM A at Z33).
Assuming the above is correct, do I burn the ROM at $1000 if installing in first ROM socket on main board?
I already have a 23xx to 27xx EPROM adapter (this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/254595637471) which can be configured (via various pin shorts) for either 2316 (/CS1 /CS2 CS3), 2332 (/CE1 CE2), 2332 (/CE1 /CE2), 2364 (/CE1) or 2364 (CE1) to a 24xx EPROM, should this work? If so, what configuration should be used?
I have some NEC D27C64C-25 EPROMS which I hope to use.
