T Reference

An Association Class formalizes an Association using two association class references named T and P.

With an asymmetric Association, each Association Class Reference will refer to a separate Perspective. In fact, the T Reference will refer to the Identifier of the Class found at the T Perspective and the P Reference will refer to the Identifier of the class at the P Perspective.

With a symmetric Association there is only one S Perspective. In that case, both the T and P References will each refer along that same Perspective and, therefore, to the same Identifier.
