Static File Server / File Browser

I've noticed that when the server cannot find the index.html file it will simply return "Not Found". However I would like to browse a list of files because I'm using this as a live web server to prototype ideas using tailwind/alpine and would like to navigate between templates/html files. Is there a way to do that? Perhaps via a plugin? If not is there another piece of software that is more suitable for this?
