Project Helix Hackathon

(Upcoming) Forth Project Helix Hackathon

The fourth Project Helix Hackathon will happen in the week of January 28th to February 1st, i.e. just before Adobe Tech Summit. This is next Project Helix hackathon.

Agenda

I hear this is a hackathon, are you going to hack all day?

Although this is a hackathon, we won't be hacking all the time, there will also be plenty of programming and coding.

For out-of-town visitors, Hotel Shattuck Plaza is in walking distance (15 minutes) and seems reasonably priced and furnished.

Goal

What are you planning to show at the end of the week?

  • Get a beta of the new developer site live
  • discuss operational logging (i.e. how can we see what's going on with the Helix microservices and bots) – @tripodsan, @mcorlan, @trieloff
  • discuss customer logging (i.e. how can our customers see what's going on with their own actions) – @tripodsan, @mcorlan, @trieloff
  • review and improve the default Helix VCL and get ideas how to solve open VCL features – @drwilco, @ejthurgo, @trieloff
  • continue discussing Helix as a Service - @ktpdobe, @rofe, @trieloff, @dulvac?
  • work on Collaborative Authoring POC - @stefan-guggisberg, @rofe, @kptdobe, @davidnuescheler?
  • state of the bots - map out api and data flow – @tripodsan @trieloff
  • managing multiple variants/strains of a site (config "wizard" or helper): @kptdobe, @tripodsan, @trieloff, @steveng
