Description

Rate of transaction failures.

• Error handling paths at these stages:
  • Pre-validation
  • Aptos Mempool
  • Execution

Method

OpenTelemetry events with a transaction hash field emitted at any of the observation points for failed transactions. The monitoring agent is responsible for creating an aggregated failure metric, also using the transaction ingress events emitted for #422.
