DIM which will be deprecated soon has a really nice feature of @alerting someone who owns a dataset in slack if there is a failure. It would be great if we could have the same capability for data checks. It simplifies communication when there's an issue see for example: https://mozilla.slack.com/archives/GE83ZMSAW/p1700070325351429. It's also a louder failure as many peeps can opt in to a specific channel to monitor so it's easier to have more eyes on it.
