  • The text for MPI_INITIALIZED(...) is currently not correct as it does not mention MPI_INIT_THREAD(...) or an (or equivallent) in the text

    • Dan suggested that it might not be MPI's concern to define an API for clocks

  • Maybe just one monotonic clock would be sufficient
    • It would be MPI's convert all internal timestamps corresponding to this clock
    • Interface must provide a means to convert this to seconds/time
