Creating a Team Group
This step is required to create a team.
Where do I click?
Click on the text box at the bottom of the brief explanation, and start typing the name of your group. Names must be unique and case-independent.
Make the name of groups as generic as possible. Imagine the following situation:
Joe would like to organize a youth soccer league. He would like to schedule games for boys and girls from ages 12-16.
Joe should type boys, hit enter, and then girls to add these two groups (Assuming Joe would like
boys to play boys and girls to play girls separately).
Joe would then like his teams to be split up by age group. He wants 12-14 year-olds to play separate from the 15-16 year-olds. He might add two more groups as follows:
After hitting Enter, Joe will have created four groups:
boysgirlsunder 14under 16
This will allow him to specify how the scheduling algorithm should group together teams eligible to play each other.
