Attendees: Lara & Kenneth (UGent), Thomas (UoB), Alan (UB), Bob (RUG), Elisabeth (HPCNow!)
- decision to go with GitLab in June'23
https://gitlab.com/eessi/support
- wiki is private, only used for internal docs (wiki is under "Plan")
- initial level of support
- We should get Lara's PR #109 to add "Getting support" page to EESSI docs
- HackMD to quickly iterate over this to get PR ready to merge: https://hackmd.io/qq8B13BjRna4lmo67KhEaQ
- We should get Lara's PR #109 to add "Getting support" page to EESSI docs
- templates and labels are in place, so corresponding planning issues can be closed
- support portal is set up, and documented in wiki, so corresponding issue can be closed
- RUG & UB should be switched (Alan will be at SC 2nd half of Nov'23)
- missing:
- list of tasks: tackling incoming questions, pro-active maintenance of software stack + support portal wiki, etc.
- target in terms of hours of partner doing rotation (starting 1 Jan 2024)
- 1 FTE week during 2 weeks when you're on rotation
- 50% of 2 FTE weeks during 10 weeks you're not on rotation
- => adds up to ~1PM across all partners
- handover + support meetings via MS Teams (UGent)
- Tuesdays at 11:00 CE(S)T
- can we configure Teams meeting so anyone can start the meeting?
- should be able to configure meeting without waiting room?
- if not, we use Zoom instead (via Thomas)
- document purpose of issue track
- KanBan board to maintain overview of issues (GitLab issue board, but limited in features in free version, and always public)
- columns for handing over tickets to other partner, moving to GitHub, to-be-discussed, ongoing work, etc.
- Lara & Kenneth will try and get full draft ready for 1 Dec'23 for review
- Notes moved to https://github.com/multixscale/meetings/wiki/Sync-meeting-T5.1-support-portal-2023-06-29
