SmoothCam sometimes causes problems with the NPC camera -- the one available through papyrus with SetCameraTarget(actor). It already had a lot of problems before, since it seems to have been an afterthought by Bethesda. But with SmoothCam it will sometimes completely lock the camera when switching targets.

Any chance you can improve the NPC Camera or at least resolve the switching problem?

While I can't be 100% sure - by fixing issue #37 I think this functionality should be improved in the next version. That said, if you are able to provide me with a mod that can replicate these issues (Both vanilla and/or caused by SmoothCam) I can take a deeper look and potentially fix them all.

It does sound like the same bug.

What about the vanilla problems with camera control while controlling an NPC? The camera seems to randomly lock on some axes. It actually seems to happen LESS with Smoothcam installed, but it's still not great.
