OpenATV 6.0, stb frequently freezes if subssupport is installed

It seems that having subssupport (both ipk from here or from feeds) installed causes stb to freeze with infinite spinner. It happens randomly, mostly after some time watching/ zapping. Can't figure how this happens because it happens without subssupport being used at all, but it's definitely subssupport package, if I remove it, no more stb freezing.

Some incompatibility with OATV 6.0?

Very interesting.

1. Does it happen also on other images, or did it happen also on older OATV?
2. How long does it take for freeze to happen(minutes/hours..)?
3. Are there some other clues before freeze that something not quite right, i.e. box slowing down?
4. Just to clarify, so you don't even start subssupport once(any plugin) just watching dvb channels(no mediaplayer2, tsmedia etc which uses subssupport) and freeze happens after some time and after you remove subssupport there are no more freezes, right?

What action do you do before freeze happens, i.e. changing channel, or nothing just spinner appears?
Can you make enigma2 log with freeze and post it here?

1. Didn't test, not much free time, also stb (Duo2) needs to be on working order much of the time (family)
   On OpenATV 5.3 was working OK, I did update to OATV 6.0 since the beginning, but when restoring plugins, I didn't install subssupport and mediaplayer2 right away, I did that only a couple days ago, then box started to freeze, I blamed OATV updates, but then I realized that removing subssupport somehow fixed the problem.

2. It's hard to tell, sometimes 30min or less, sometimes more time is needed. I personally left it running and when I came back after an hour it was frozen.

4. Yes. Can't think why would subssupport cause this.

To other people in the house, mostly when changing channels, they always say that to me after telling me that stb froze. I personally tested this and can't trigger the problem, only by leaving it running and coming back after some time I could see the problem happen.

I've missed that last version from /releases. I may need to test that one later.

EDIT: about E2 log, may be hard to get as the box has many record timers coming... when I have free time!

Hmm, since it was working on OpenATV 5.3 alright we can assume that this is really some image problem.

There is some init code running of subssupport when enigma2 is starting, like importing necessary modules(most of it enigma2 imports), initializing languages, getting fonts, loading configs, loading custom colors etc. So maybe some of these imports causes to run some code which causes this random freeze?

It would really help if you could find a quick way of reproducing this issue.

I'm sorry, but it seems I don't get the free time to investigate this further.
Btw, I didn't had a single freeze since I removed subssupport, but this problem might be a conflict between plugins... like I said, no time!

I tested and I use it all the time.

SubsSupport perfect works on openATV 5.3 + openATV 6.0 !
normal usage = Great
usage with Kodi = Great
usage with MediaPlayer2 = Great
