  • Materia version: 0.0.20210322-2.fc34 (Materia compact)
  • GTK3 version: 3.24.30
  • Distribution (and version): Fedora 34
  • Desktop environment (and version): GNOME 40

Actual Issue
When using the drop down calendar, the 'Today' doesn't expand, when it has to show multiple events on that day. Doesn't happen on other themes, just Materia for me. I tried every Materia version (Dark, light and their compact one), but it doesn't help.

Normally on adwaita, every box in the overview scales according to the needs, but in this theme, it doesn't

Weirdly enough, when 'Today' is a day with many entries to begin with, it fits just fine.
I think the bug lays somwhere, where the height calculation of the box is done. Currently it's probably just static and calculated when logging in, but it should be done when the required space changes
