Add offline feed

Hi,

would it be possible to add an offline feed?
I have some feeds that will certainly come back, and would like to pre-save them to start updating once online again
It would be really great to add these without messing with the database manually

You could try the commandline. But in the end adding intentionally wrong data isn't something we are going to put effort in supporting. If you add a pull request ID happily review it, but I won't be investing my own time in it beyond that.

Alliright, I see
It is not wrong data, it is just a feed that happens to have an undefinied initial refresh period, but I do see it is a rare use case
How can I add it with the commandline please? Thank you

I thought about this and I currently see no chance to implement this.
If you think about the different scenarios that might exist for a user adding a feed I don't see possible solution for the UI at this point.

As UI development has halted my guess is that news will run without and UI soon.

If there was a nice information system for the user and news would differentiate between the different error types then yea ok.
But we are very far away from that.
