Old already read articles appear again

I have a feed where old articles, that I already read appear again. Some are a few days old, some are weeks or months old.

Why this isn't a valid feed? I think the update-date for the feed is wrong, but there are items with the date of today.
This feed works. I get new articles every day. The only problem is, that sometimes I get old articles too.

But our fix for that seemes to work for most users and feeds.

But yea news can't handle every single feed in this world. It surprises me a bit that a feed of the WDR has so many issues and is not even accepted by the validator...

What might also happen is that they actually change older entries.

First option would be that you ask them to kindly check the feed and fix these issues, probably their CMD just can't handle it or they have some strange old tool.
Second you could analyze the feed manually and observe what they are actually changing.

You can use ./occ news:item:list-feed $user $feedID for that you can find the ID via occ or in the webclient in the url of that feed.
Take snapshots and compare them
