Nobody is having the same "inconvenience" ? Though I agree that sites proposing rss feed should always propose at least a feed containing only previews and why not a complete content feed for those who wants... |

I also would like to have this feature in News. It is very hard to read the news stream when some websites are publishing whole article content in RSS - for example CloudFlare blog. |

I think this is especially a problem of the current "expand" the items view. In the frontend rewrite there will be a 3-pane layout which will make this issue essentially obsolete IMO. |

I looked if a similar issue already exists but I didn't find anything...
Explain the Problem
When an RSS feed contains the full article/blog post, the entire content of the feed is displayed in the feed view. This is a normal behavior.
But when mixing feeds (in a same folder for example) that display only a preview of the content, and feeds that display the entire content, the "previews" are drowned in the middle of the "full content" items.
The feature request is to add an option for each feed which permits to truncate/shorten/limite the size of the feed item to an acceptable size (this is to be defined). For example a simple checkbox "truncate content".
