AutoNICER is a CLI tool that allows for the automation of data retrieval from "nicermastr"(https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/W3Browse/nicer/nicermastr.html), and/or allows for the automation of NICER data reduction with the nicerl2 pipeline and barycentric corrections. The allows autoNICER users the opportunity to process a high volume of NICER datasets with default and standardized data reduction scheme without the need of frequent analyst input.
This project is unaffiliated with the NICER team, NASA, the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), and the HEASARC. Thus, under no circumstances should anyone consider this project endorsed by or recommended by the aforementioned agencies and organizations.
This software is licensed under the Apache 2.0 license, so it is free and open source for you to use.

AutoNICER is a very powerful tool that can download large quantities of data and reprocess/alter large quantities of data. This can be very useful if used properly, yet very destructive if used incorrectly. Please understand what autoNICER is doing before using it.
Anyone considering contributing to this project is encouraged to do so. Contributing can be something as small as submitting issues you have found or requesting enhancements. Your feedback is incredibly valuable for improving the project. All that is asked is that if you wish to contribute code please reach out in one way or another to nkphysics (Nick Space Cowboy), and/or submit a pull request.
