Package errors how to handle them?

New to node, i confronted with package errors whit install. My node setup:

v20.17.0 is already installed.
Now using node v20.17.0 (npm v10.8.2)

Far to often i get install errors missing or outdate packages. I do what the log explains me to do with fix or force fix. But without succes. The list of error packages is to long to handle them by hand. What would be the way to resovle this situation.

It does not help me starting with node and the many application i like to work with.

There are install who work without any complain - for example eleventy and remark.

I did npm update and update by hand some packages now i am rest with:

$ npm audit fix --force lodash.template @latest

To address all issues, run:
  npm audit fix

But the fix and update does not help me.
Any help on my way with node would be welcome.
