Update slide width and then transition to the slide

I am currently working on a carousel where I want to first increase the width of a given slide, and then slide to that slide. However, the slideTo() method doesn't seem to be working as expected when using CSS Transition on the width property

Notice how disabling the transition property in App.css fixes the issue
