Reckless Ted's Funland Sensors (RTF_Sensors)

Here are some ROS2 drivers to publish Adafruit senor information:

Setup

WARNING: Don't use a virtualenv, ROS doesn't play nicely with those

  1. pip install -U pip setuptools wheel
  2. pip install Adafruit-Blinka
  3. pip install adafruit-circuitpython-lsm6ds (or any adafruit sensors you want)
  4. pip install squaternion

Make sure the sensors are on the I2C bus:

$ sudo apt install i2c-tools
$ dotfiles $ sudo i2cdetect -y 1

To Build

git clone https://github.com/RecklessTedsFunland/rtf_sensors.git

source /opt/ros/humble/setup.zsh

colcon build --symlink-install --packages-select rtf_sensors

source install/setup.bash

Execute

ros2 run rtf_sensors lsm6sox_node
