Hacktoberfest!

Howdy! This project's been a bit quiet, mostly because it seems like things are running smoothly. Thought I'd take advantage of Hacktoberfest this year to see if we could give this library some TLC!

Any PRs, issues, ideas welcome! I made a few issues for some small stuff that I thought could be improved. This discussion is here to provide a place to share thoughts on the library, ideas for going forward, and any Hacktoberfest-related comments/concerns.
Any participation in this repo is a huge help with maintaining this library! 😄

Would also like to say: I'd absolutely love to make some large changes to the library over the next few months and get version 1.0 released!
