Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

To Reproduce
Create an instance that indirectly would result in instancing itself.
Node1._instance_path = /Node2
Node2._instance_path = /Node1

Expected behavior
Gracefully error and move on with the comp, instead of hitting a recursion or inheritance cycle errors.
