Because the packages aren't downloaded through pnpm itself but through nix, you'll have to make use of its auth mechanisms. For any ssh git repo, it will use the ssh keys of the user you're running nix as (and it should also honor your ssh config if you need to specify different keys for a host). For https there's the access-tokens option in nix.conf
