Fixes Issues #36 and #37
I am still seeing a timing issue with #37 when mashing keys quickly on my keyboard (ie: super fast input), but for more realistic editing this seems to work better than master.
Performance can be an issue on large files. Probably need to introduce the parent expression hack.
