Can this send an email when an entry is about to expire?

Hi!

I have an app with a certain section of entries that have expiration dates, typically six months out from the publish date. I would hesitate to even consider myself a junior developer... so the thought of setting up a Cron job and writing a custom plugin to handle this freaks me out! When I came across this plugin I got real excited... but can someone help me out with this requirement?

Can this plugin easily help me create a task to check each entry of a specific section and send an email to a list of email addresses attached to that entry two weeks out from the actual expiration date?
