Definition (free text, please give PubMed ID)
A bodily gas that is exhaled through the mouth, which can include gas from the digestive system or lungs.
PMID: 34579138
I'm not sure whether this counts as an "excreted" gas, but it is a bodily gas. I intend this term to be the basis for a "breath test" term, as described in the article.

Glad I checked the tracker! I was about to make the same request. I agree that the parent should be 'bodily gas' and that it should not be 'excreted gas'. The only quibble I have with the proposed definition is that exhalation is not limited to the mouth, so 'exhaled through the mouth' should be 'exhaled through the mouth or nose'.
Preferred term label:
exhaled breath
