To prove a operator-managed, replicated, egeria environment scales correctly, we need to build a demo
environment (ie helm chart(s) ) using a suitable backend.

JanusGraph in theory supports client/server, however we have concerns about the design of our graph connector
XTDB/Crux therefore is the likely option.

We may create a combined crus/operator/CR/kafka helm chart, or a series of independent or related charts to do this, but
the goal should

  • simplicity to demo & explain/document
  • maintain reusable components
