Checklist:

  • Scale hosted postgresql instance, change storage to gp3 and increase size to 50GB: 6d9d6e3
  • Add monitoring of status codes and failure rates on backend-fsn
  • Create proteus account on hosted pg instance
  • Perform backup of db-1.proteus.ooni.io database (dump available in data3.htz-fsn.prod.ooni.nu in /data/backups/2024-12-18-proteus.sql
  • Restore DB onto hosted pg instance
  • Update ams-ps to point to hosted pg instance
  • Monitor failure rate for some time
  • Stop db-1.proteus.ooni.io
  • Terminate db-1.proteus.ooni.io
