Currently on 3.6:

  • cove-ocds (update cove-ocds-live-tests.yml in this repo as well)
  • cove-oc4ids
  • kingfisher-collect (data support server - 3.8 on registry server)
  • kingfisher-summarize

Non-applications that use 3.8 in GitHub Actions:

  • deploy
  • european-union-support
  • extension-explorer
  • extension_registry
  • field-level-mapping-template
  • kingfisher-colab (Google Colaboratory not yet using Python 3.10)
  • sample-data
  • standard-development-handbook
  • The common i18n.yml,lint.yml,pypi.yml,spellcheck.yml,mypy.yml workflows

3.8 will be EOL in 1y 5mo. Might as well wait for newer Python versions before updating the Dockerfile's of:

  • data-registry
  • kingfisher-process
  • pelican-backend
  • pelican-frontend
  • spoonbill-web

closing in favor of #381, which is essentially #402 at this point.
