WebRTC is a free, open project that enables web browsers with Real-Time Communications (RTC) capabilities via simple Javascript APIs. The WebRTC components have been optimized to best serve this purpose. WebRTC.org

This WebRTC project will look at and deliver the following.

Documentation to explain WebRTC:

* What is WebRTC
* Who is driving WebRTC
* Why do we need WebRTC
* When and where will it be seen
* Future benefits and possibilities

The project will review the commercial possibilities of adding functionality to the existing WebRTC product such as:

* Screen sharing.
* File sharing.
* Profiling the incoming caller.
* Real time text.
* Full audio visual conferencing.
* Availablity across all platforms and hardware.
