The protocol defined and implemented in the repository has been renamed to the Host I/O Mapping Protocol to reflect the lack of importance of the mailbox transport. Rename the repository, build artifacts and source elements in the following way:

Old New
mboxbridge hiomapd
mboxd hiomapd
mboxctl hiomapctl
struct mbox_context struct hiomapd

For the installation, symlink mboxctl to hiomapd for a period and print a deprecation warning.
