Business Committee

Introduction

An active community is key for long term development and success of the Open Integration Hub. The Business Committee is responsible for all community-facing topics, as well as topics relevant for commercial use of the framework. We aim for making interactions easier, more productive and fun.

The Business Committee is a formal body of the Open Integration Hub Project as laid out in the Open Integration Hub Charter. Alongside the Technology Committee we manage operative execution of all tasks necessary to achieve the strategic goals defined by the Board and community.

Initiatives

Initiatives bundle activities around important topics that are driven by the members of the Business Committee in order to grow the community and foster wider use of the Open Integration Hub framework among businesses.

The current initiatives are:

  • Evangelism

All activities around growing and connecting the community. Events, Marketing, PR for the Open Integration Hub Project.

  • Website Optimization

All activities around maintaining the website, newsletter and other online channels.

  • Enablement Program

All acitivities around support for developers, trainings and documentation.

Workgroups

The Business Committee can set up workgroups for topics that need a wider range of expertise.

Contribution

The committee members are elected committers as described in the Open Integration Hub Charter. However, anyone is welcome to contribute and actively participate in initiatives or suggest new topics. Please contact us and mind the contribution guidelines.

Code of Conduct

To see how members of the community are expected to behave, please read the code of conduct. We apply the code of conduct defined by the Contributor Covenant, which is used across many open source projects, such as NodeJS, Atom and Kubernetes.
