Serendipity Styx 2.9.0

Serendipity Styx 2.9.0 "Give Peace a Chance" (1969) Release

Since the more template focused Styx 2.8.0 version was somehow delayed in early April 2019 and then was overrun by a real flood of Core improvements and fixes, this version was abandoned in favor of 2.9.0.

Please read the important changeLog NEWS (1) file for changes since Serendipity Styx 2.7.0, or the real commit history (2).

For direct downloads, auto fetches per wget or curl, use the attached named release zip

!!! Note: Release zips and source-tagged GitHub zips differ in important aspects! The obvious difference is the installed directory name. For the Serendipity Autoupdate you need a release file zip! This also is the preferred and recommended file, since it was created by the "create_release.sh" file process for permissions, integrity checksums, etc.
