This automatically generated reply acts as a friendly reminder. Answers to your questions will most often come from the community, from developers like yourself. You will, from time to time, find that Axis employees answers some of the questions, but this is not a guarantee. Think of the discussion forum as a complement to other support channels, not a replacement to any of them. If your question remains unanswered for a period of time, please revisit it to see whether it can be improved by following the guidelines listed in Axis support guidelines. |

Hi @jtsoi , You may explore the My Syetems portal for APIs but I guess it is using either Axis Cloud Connect or Axis Secure Remote Access internally 😄 As you have only 4 cameras to control you can use VAPIX APIs to STOP and START ACAPs running on individual cameras: |

Background
We are setting up a small system with 4 cameras for a small office.
The working hours are flexible, and are not on a fixed schedule.
Some days staff are working from home, so there is no one in the office.
The system is setup with Axis Camera Station Edge.
What we are looking for
We would like to be able to programmatically enable and disable the mobile
app notifications. The way that can be done manually via the Axis Camera Station Edge Desktop Application. (preferably over some API or MQTT)
So that this can be connected to the alarm system or some IoT physical button.
A sort of "arm/disarm" mobile app notifications.
Alternatively enable or disable an event schedule, that would achieve the same effect.
Notes
when a camera has mobile app notifications enabled/disabled.
per camera. Per camera configuration would actually allow us to alert us when we get visitors,
as some cameras can have notifications enabled, while others are disabled.
Warm regards,
/JT
