Well, rebooted, unistalled, reinstalled, rebooted again, and it keeps failing....same error EDIT: found the cause of the Xorg error: uninstalling

It's possible though very unlikely that there is an ABI problem with the dummy driver on Fedora 38. $ rpm -qa | grep dummy
xorg-x11-drv-dummy-0.4.1-1.xpra1.fc38.x86_64 And I'm not experiencing any problems.

Hello. Change the shebang and all ok with beta now. And installed Fedora 37, nvenc working now (it is working too in Almalinux 9.2). Take note that the installation of xpra-codecs-extra was causing the Xorg error for me in Fedora 38. Uninstalling this package fixed it. Thank you! |

The current beta builds should have the correct shebang now.
Then this is very likely to be a memory corruption issue with one of the codecs brought in by this package. |
