WCS to provide product family

hi,

i think we shouldn't even consider having product arrangement, as it's a part of analytics blob. It's supposed to be served as such, without thinking.
What about using AOS api to get the offer data from the OSI you have?

but yes, i guess it shouldn't cost a lot to add that to wcs otherwise

yes, I thought the purpose of WCS was to save us from the need to query AOS API directly.
and, it would be an additional request, with an additional cost.

I think this is not a good idea since we might have plenty of different OSIs in the page and AOS will require an offer ID which means, we first need to resolve the OSI, get the offer ID, call AOS in order to get the product family.
This will kill the performance and impact UX.

I support having product family in the WCS response since this is a stable metadata qualifying an offer.

FWIW, I second the request to add product family to the response from WCS.
