Setup for official raspberry 7" touchscreen 800x480?

I am new on bareboat, I have been trying to get me touchscreen working but all my tries end up in that lightdm does not start at boot.
For example i have tried:
-Tried changing cvt resolution in config.txt ( hdmi_cvt=800 480 60 but I not sure
-tried image 0420 and several new installs!
-and a lot more by from various sources on the net, 4 day so far in vain!

/var/log/Xorg.0.log gives:
Parse error on line 5 of section InputClass in file /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/90-touchinput.conf
"edt-ft5506" is not a valid keyword in this section.

Any ideas?

it tells you exactly where problem is. File name and line number

Yes,
Of course I was hoping for a more a "what to do" answer, at least a direction where to look for it!
Something with driver it seems, or is it a bookworm, lysmarine issue, or a dts overlay file needed, is the "edt-ft5506" the right driver ?
I have tried to remove the "edt-ft5506" from the file and reboot or run "hot-fixes" but no luck!
I have tried adding dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3d to config file, no luck
I have tried with the suggested commented lines for other touchscreen in the config files
Actually tried 50 different tests, read 100s of pages on internet to get some idea what to do, but I am fumbling in the dark with a lot of trail and errors!
Maybe if its perfectly clear to everyone what to do, but unfortunately it is not for a NOOB as me!
The raspberry 7" touchscreen has always just worked for me so I hoped for the same here.
Are there someone that have used the raspberry 7" touchscreen and got it working, and have time to give me a hint?

I was a bit a bit hasty, the xinput_calibration does not take my touch input correctly.
It handles all touches as a touch in the top left corner.
So it is back to the driver issue!

Try adding Options into that file:

Option "Calibration" "0 800 0 480"

Also I’m not convinced that MatchProduct string is correct for your screen.

find the product:

cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep TOUCH
Then copy and paste product name into MatchProduct section

sudo nano /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/90-touchinput.conf
and save the file.

Okay, so I'm trying this aswell, and I have got it to work, however, I can't see the entire menu. I tried setting hdmi_cvt=800 480 60, but that changes nothing. The resolution looks correct though

It’s quite low resolution. What you can do is
to run scale-up program. It’s in menu with a blue icon ‘+’. You can ask budgie desktop to autostart it on each boot.

Seemed to be the same data between the quotes as in the 90-touchinput.conf above.

Option "Calibration" "0 800 0 480" unfortunately did not change the behaviour of xinput_calibrator and the touch input.

I will go back to openplotter, and possibly try later!

It definitely doesn’t match. Look closely what is in double quotes.
