There exists no "not live mode" for these values. If the values dont change while printing, the gcode you are using just use every time the same ACC. |

Hey Miguel,
Huge thanks for this information. You may recall that I use your software on my Ender3V2. I still use that printer daily. TY !
So, my friend just send me a video of his accelerations changing in Mainsail but as I watch, I only see two numbers which might mean this only shows settings he has in printer.cfg and nothing more. Not live accelerations.
TY for letting me know that this is not something that Mainsail shows while the printer runs. You are the best!
Sincerely,
Price Cobb

I think you have misunderstood me. Mainsail updates the acceleration live when it changes in the gcode/klipper, but the gcode must be with dynamic acceleration. if the gcode has no acceleration values, klipper cannot change them and mainsail cannot display any other numbers. |

Ah, so how do I get g-code to display dynamic acceleration? In slicer or?
Again, TY Miguel.

Folks, I'm new to Mainsail (and Klipper) so apologize upfront for what may be silly questions. I have a Sovol SV08 which uses Mainsail to do the usual stuff on the printer from my computer. My question is this. How can I get to see the accelerations in real-time on my Mainsail screen? I have an acquaintance with the same printers and both of his show accelerations as they change real-time. Speed is shown real time on my machine but Acceleration is just a static number that appears to show what is set as the max acceleration in printer.cfg. Any thoughts as to where I might look to see what the heck? Clearly this is not going to make or break my printing, but I'd love to see how changing accelerations affects the machine as it happens. I am aware that a little knowledge is dangerous....for me! TYVM
