This is a very perplexing issue because we have not been able to reproduce it, but a few people have reported similar problems in the past. It's not a great fix, but I think deleting and reinstalling the app has fixed it for some people. I recommend also using the "Export OPML" feature to save a copy of your podcast subscriptions on your phone, so you have a backup in case something goes wrong. Also, if you have a Podverse Premium account, your podcast subscriptions should restore themselves after you log back into your Premium account after reinstalling Podverse. If you don't have one already, would you like a free membership? We will extend anyone's membership for a year for free by request. You'd just need to sign up for a Premium membership first (no cost or payment info needed), and then let us know the email address you signed up for Premium with. As for the cause of this bug, my hunch is that something at the config level in our app is changing / breaking / not migrating correctly after Podverse updates to a new version. It's still mysterious however why this bug seems to crop up for some iOS devices but not others... |
